Today we are dealing with the difference between regular hosting and one of the most popular of all time which is Gmail.
First of all, let's mention the prices, which is the biggest difference.
With us there is a start package where you get 5 email addresses and you can also have a website (ordinary html) for only 800 dinars for a year. That means 800/5 email address is 160 dinars per email address in a year.
Gmail Business (we don't consider free because you don't have your own domain on it) is 5 dollars per month per email address, which is about 580 dinars per email address per month, which is about 7000 dinars for a year.
Let's compare again in case you missed it:
With us, 160 dinars per email address for one year
Gmail business 7000 dinars per email address for one year
So Hosting per email address 160 dinars per year Gmail 7000 dinars per year.
Other differences are of a technical nature, like everything else, and with email there are limits.
The daily limit for sending messages with us (160 dinars per year) is 1440 emails. Gmail (7000 per year) at the daily level of 2000 emails.
What happens if you exceed the limits, nothing happens with us, emails are on hold and will be sent later, gmail says suspension for 24 hours.
With us, there is a possibility to increase the number of emails on a daily basis, if there really is a need for it. And the only suspension with us is if we notice spam.
Why? The reason is quite simple, it's called spam and it's inherently bad even if you're sending your customers who signed up to receive spam messages from you. Because the system does not distinguish whether someone has registered or not, but only detects spam or not, and when this happens, the server from which the spam was sent is marked as problematic, so the emails end up in the spam folder or even not delivered at all.
Now, what makes Gmail better than regular hosting.
First of all, the reason is simple, you have more space per email on gmail, then spam protection is better and more advanced (this can be easily solved on hosting by marking messages as spam and they no longer reach you, and the entire domain can be banned).
Virus protection is a little better on Gmail, but certainly not protected by 100%.
The number of recipients per email message is greater on Gmail and amounts to 100 per email. But then you are blocked by other limits, so that number does not mean that you can really use it.
That's the difference between gmail and regular hosting. It's up to you to decide what's worth more to you and whether it's better.
Bearing in mind that, for example, mailchimp allows daily sending of emails to 2000 email addresses per day, completely free of charge, the question arises as to whether it is really worth it.
