Take RS which is more expensive compared to COM which is cheaper?
When did we first ask ourselves to see how big the difference is? RS is 1900 dinars, COM is 1100 dinars for a year, which means that the difference between the two domains is only 58 dinars per month.
Every day we get questions about whether it is important to take an rs domain in comparison to a .com.
The answer is not complicated and is quite clear. If your market is under that, we mean that your target group is clients and visitors who will come to your site from Serbia then definitely .rs.
Why? Because google favors rs domains over other or even global tld domains.
So if, for example, you are looking for a painting shop from Serbia and there are two sites, moler.com and moler.rs, the one with the domain .rs will come out first compared to this .com, only because Google concluded that you need a site that is exclusively for the Serbian market.
The contribution to this is that when we look at all the world brands of Coca Cola, Mercedes, Microsoft, they have domains and websites in the Serbian language with a Serbian domain. It's not because they have too much money but because they know how search engines work.
The next question is whether it is the same to have www.vassajt.com/rs/ and www.vassajt.rs, the answer is almost the same as the one above. It is better to have .rs instead of the /rs/ folder itself for better ranking.
This is of course important for multilingual sites. Google also likes the fact that the abbreviation of the country is used in the site in order to better determine which market the site is intended for, but with the .rs domain, they will undoubtedly make no mistake and will place your site in the right place.

Domain is one of the most important items when it comes to internet presence. Changing the domain later means losing your position on the search engines. That is why it is better to give 700 dinars for a year more and be sure than to guess for 700 dinars (60 dinars per month) and thus slow down the business.
