Migration to a new server

The migration will take place on Friday, November 1, 2024, in the evening hours, to ensure the least possible disruption to work. The changes this migration brings include software updates, enabling a more efficient and secure environment for

• PHP version 8.3: The new server will use PHP version 8.3 as default. If your application uses a custom PHP version, it will be saved, so no additional setup is required.
• MySQL version 8.0: The MySQL database version will be upgraded from 5.7 to 8.0, which provides better security and faster data processing. If your application uses features specific to older versions of MySQL, please check compatibility and make the necessary adjustments.
• Change IP address: The new server will have an IP address (contact IP support). If you are using a firewall or IP-based security settings, we recommend that you update your configuration to allow unhindered access.
• Domain nameservers: If you purchased your domain through us, we will update the nameservers automatically to:
  • ns1.webhostingsrbija.rs
  • ns2.webhostingsrbija.rs
  If your domain was purchased from another provider, you need to update the nameservers that evening or the next day to ensure your site runs smoothly.

• Check compatibility: If your application or plugins require certain versions of PHP or MySQL, check their compatibility with the new versions.
• Update IP and nameservers: Add a new IP address to the whitelist and update the nameservers (if the domain was purchased outside our system).
• Test the functionality of the site after the migration: That way you can spot and solve any potential problems in time.
